What People Say
It wasn't until I attended the course organized by the Taiwan Facial Acupuncture Medical Association that I truly realized acupuncture can be integrated with modern myofascial anatomy. It allows for precise adjustment of facial contours and fine lines—not only focusing on therapeutic results but also grounded in scientific logic.I’ve tried using different software. The computer is not my strong side. There is excellent support behind your product and people to walk you through it.

When I first signed up for the cosmetic acupuncture course, it was simply because I wanted to increase my out-of-pocket services. But after learning cosmetic acupuncture, I realized there's so much depth to it. Not only did it help me review muscle anatomy, it also gave me a better understanding of how muscles move. I also discovered that issues in other areas of the body could be addressed using cosmetic acupuncture techniques — for example, relaxing the SCM (sternocleidomastoid) to help improve hand numbness. After class, if I had any questions, the teacher was always patient and offered helpful suggestions to improve treatments for my patients. I highly recommend taking the core facial acupuncture course — you’ll gain more than you expect!–

Having practiced in Japan for years, I often saw facial acupuncture offered without a unified standard. Joining the Taiwan Facial Acupuncture Society was eye-opening. Professor Sung clearly explained the integration of modern aesthetics and acupuncture principles, emphasizing facial anatomy and techniques that even those with a Western medicine background can grasp. The hands-on practice after each lecture made the learning experience even more effective. I gained a lot from the course and now feel more confident in applying these techniques in clinical practice.

Facial acupuncture is a technique that requires dedicated time and effort to continually refine and improve. Even when inserting needles at the same points, different angles and depths can affect the final results. During the course, not only are the basic principles of cosmetic acupuncture and the seven major muscle groups explained, but the instructor also specifically organizes information on the muscle groups that need special attention when targeting particular wrinkles.
The instructor selects students with different facial types on-site to demonstrate which muscle groups should be especially strengthened for each type, so students aren't limited to a standardized approach and can apply their skills to various face shapes.
Additionally, the instructor covers microneedling (MTS) techniques for lifting and treating acne scars, allowing students to address a wide range of clinical cases.
After the lectures, students are divided into groups for hands-on practice, with teaching assistants providing guidance to help everyone become familiar with the techniques they’ve learned — making it a truly rewarding experience! It wasn't until I attended the course organized by the Taiwan Facial Acupuncture Medical Association that I truly realized acupuncture can be integrated with modern myofascial anatomy. In the past, learning facial acupuncture was a solitary journey filled with exploration and trial and error.
After joining the training program offered by the Taiwan Facial Acupuncture Medical Association, the meticulous guidance from instructors and teaching assistants not only shortened my learning curve but also gave me greater confidence through a rigorous certification process.
The association continues to provide a wealth of modern aesthetic medicine courses and international exchange opportunities, broadening and deepening my understanding of facial acupuncture.
I’m grateful to the association for accompanying me on this journey, allowing me to move forward steadily and confidently on the path of excellence in both beauty and medicine.

I am Dr. Roy Tsui (Xu Zechang), a registered Chinese medicine practitioner from Hong Kong. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we believe that "what is internal will be reflected externally"—health and beauty are closely connected.
After completing Professor Shen’s F.A.C.E. Facial Acupuncture course, I came to appreciate the profound wisdom of TCM-based aesthetic medicine. The remarkable effects of F.A.C.E. facial acupuncture have amazed both me and my patients. Every day, many people come for consultations and treatments!

I am a licensed acupuncturist from New York and have been dedicated to the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine since 1997, with a long-standing focus on gynecology and natural beauty in clinical practice. Since 2022, I’ve had the great honor of studying cosmetic acupuncture under two exceptional teachers: Ms. Song Jeong-Hwa from Korea and Dr. Shen Ruibin from Taiwan. Both are not only highly skilled and experienced but also deeply passionate about teaching. Their training, which emphasizes both foundational theory and advanced hands-on techniques, is systematic and clinically applicable, leading to significant breakthroughs in my professional development.
I also had the opportunity to visit Taiwan in person to closely observe Dr. Shen’s teaching and clinical practice, from which I gained invaluable insights. Dr. Shen is currently offering online courses and will be hosting a cosmetic acupuncture seminar this July—an excellent and rare learning opportunity. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who shares a passion for natural beauty and TCM aesthetics.
